This collection is an order (February 1, 1811) from William Henry Harrison, Governor of the Indiana Territory, to the sheriff of Jefferson County, directing him to hold an election for the purpose of selecting one person to represent the county in the House of Representatives of the territory. Also, includes six poll reports (April 1811), listing voters in three townships of Jefferson, Madison, and Washington (Jefferson County) and the votes cast for the House of Representatives in the Indiana Territory and the United States Congress.
